Stoke Mandeville Hospital

This is the main hospital for our area but parking is limited and public transport requires roundabout routes. We are of the opinion that this is not acceptable and that there should be a direct bus service to give better links from Chesham, Amersham and Little Chalfont (not to mention Missenden and Wendover). This is fairly low key at the moment but it is an issue that we press with councillors and council officers on a regular basis.

Accessible Taxis

the group has been actively supporting the Amersham and Chesham group of the MS Society over the lack of availability of wheelchair accessible taxis.
